September 2019 - June 2020

I and five of my classmates were selected to be a part of the European Union’s Interreg programme and create an application with Austrian students that would use API communication with a server. Our group was divided into two teams, each comprising three Czech students and four Austrian students.

My team collaborated with an Austrian team to develop a “Picture Guessing Game” using Windows Presentation Foundation. The Czech part of the team’s responsibility was creating the game’s user interface and game logic. As part of the project, we had to effectively communicate and co-develop with the Austrian team, who were responsible for the server-side solution that stored the game’s pictures and descriptions.

Overall, this was a highly collaborative and engaging project that allowed me to see how teams can collaborate even when they are not able to meet physically during the development.

The game is unfortunately no longer playable as the Austrian side has deactivated the server that held the information about the pictures and no offline alternative for the application was created.
